Ardoise Chalet, Chamonix - Argentiere

The chalet sleeps up to 12 in five bedrooms and a snug on a mezzanine. The rooms are configured as follows:

• Bedroom 1: Double/twin room his and her sinks, monsoon shower and WC
• Bedroom 2: Double/twin room with bath, WC and sink
• Bedroom 3: Double/twin room with bath, WC, sink and direct access to hot tub
• Bedroom 4: Double room with monsoon shower, WC, sink and direct access to hot tub
• Bedroom 5: Double/twin room with shower, WC, sink and direct access to hot tub
• Snug: Double bed on a mezzanine

All rooms include care products by Gilchrist & Soames.

The chalet is let on a self-catering or catered basis, the choice is yours. Catered packages include a private, professional chef to prepare full cooked and continental breakfast, afternoon tea with fresh bread, pastries and cakes. In the evening a sumptuous 4-course fine dining experience with well selected wines, beers and soft drinks. You'll be served cocktails and spirits in the hot tub by their hosts and awaken the next day with breakfast in bed if you wish. The chef is available 6 days out of 7. In addition you will be welcomed by the chalet manager with a Champagne and canapés reception on arrival.

This chalet is part of the hamlet of Les Rives d'Argentiere which comprises four interconnected luxury chalets that are perfect for large groups and corporate events.

• "The time that we spent here couldn't have been any better for all the family. 12 of us stayed at the chalet which was quite a lot but it is plenty big enough apart from 1 bedroom well it's more of a hideaway that you might find Harry potter living in ! But was not an issue.
  All the staff are fantastic, friendly & very helpful you cannot fault them. Martin the manager has a great team around him. Every day or when needed the fridge is restocked with soft drinks & beer brilliant.
  Also downstairs in the communal cinema room there is a fridge fully stocked with drinks, plus in the cinema room they have Sky Tv which is a bonus also various DVDs or just take your own. The chefs are amazing without doubt the best food I had including the restaurants we tried whilst out, Brilliant a big thank you to those guys. The chalet was always very warm with a huge wood burner in the corner of the lounge which when on is way to hot but looks great tho. Through out your stay you are taken by mini bus to where ever you want or picked up they are only a phone call away. Back to the chalet it's very clean & well maintained the girls come in and do what's needed, again these girls are great very pleasant. On occasion the chef would do your breakfast in your chalet ie eggs bacon whatever you want, you truly are being spoilt here. • "This is by far the very best chalet we have rented in the Chamonix Valley. The Chalets are even better than the photos and descriptions on the website. Les Rives d'Argentiere is a group of four chalets each decorated in a different and beautiful style. All four have been built with great care and finished with the highest quality- inside and out. Incredible outdoor decks and terraces, private new hot tubs, beautiful outdoor loungers, tables, umbrellas, flowers and a shared outdoor pool facing south with the most stunning views all around. The chalets are all south facing and border a pretty river on one side. Many first-class hikes and walks start right out the door. Quiet neighborhood of authentic homes with beautiful gardens and charming residents. The tiny, peaceful and charming village of Argentiere has a fully-stocked small market, excellent restaurants, bakery, lovely church and post office. The Stone Bar is a fantastic place for homemade food and convivial atmosphere. The village is located a few minutes walk along the river path from the chalets. Walk or take a small train to Chamonix. The owner, Marc, and his entire staff are kind, helpful and gracious people. Marc located a blender for fruit smoothies and a fondue pot complete with fuel. Everyone was more than willing to give hiking and restaurant tips. Marc is so very easy to work with in all ways. The daily housekeeping service was a treat too. The staff was never intrusive but always there to provide assistance. We have been renting vacation homes for 30 years. Marc has made Les Rives d'Argentiere an absolute favorite.
